Risky Decision Making Behavior of Managers:An empirical research

Abstract: In this paper, We investigated the risky decision Making behavior of Chinese managers. In study I,214 managers filled in Utility Measure Questionnaire.In study Ⅱ,82 managers finished Risky Decision Situations Simulation Survey.The results indicate that personal characteristics(including sex,position,type and size of the employers,etc.),decision task characteristics(such as sign and size of the outcomes)and decision environmental characteristics(for example,corporate culture,business state and the risk attitude of their superiors)are the key factors which influenced the risky decision making behavior of managers.These results will be very important and useful to present a comprehensive theory or model on risky decision making behavior.
