The Bi-level Programming Model and Algorithm based on Sensitivity Analysis for Estimating Origin-Destination Demands on Mixed Urban Traffic Networks
An Mei, Gao Zi-you, Yang Lu
    2000, (3):  14-20.
    Abstract ( 2088 )   PDF (2202KB) ( 1997 )   Save
A bi-level programming model for origin-destination demands estimation is established on mixed urban traffic congested network based on three traffic modes (car, bus, bicycle). Moreover, a heuristic algorithm for solving this model is also proposed based on sensitivity analysis method. Finally a numeral test is used to illustrate the applications of the bi level programming model for estimating origin destination demands. In the numeral results, estimation values of origin destination demands and the link traffic flows can be obtained simultaneously from the model and algorithms.

VaR Methodology and Its Application in Stock Market Risk Analysis
    FAN Ying
    2000, (3):  27-33.
    Abstract ( 2610 )   PDF (1395KB) ( 4896 )   Save
This paper discusses the concept and calculation method of VaR for measuring investment risk. Based on the random walk hypothesis of stock price, the VaRs of stock in Shenzhen market under different confidence level are investigated, and the comparisons with actual investment return are also presented. The application of VaR to stock investment in China is illustrated with an example.

The Incentive and Monitor in Principle-Agent Problem
    WANG Xian-yu, YAN Jin-jiang
    2000, (3):  34-39.
    Abstract ( 2283 )   PDF (2284KB) ( 2255 )   Save
In the principle-agent problem with moral hazard, the observation of the state of nature has the same effect with the monitoring of agent’s action. Considering the cost of observation, this paper puts forward the state-observation model and analyzes the informational asymmetry with Baysian theorem. Then we discuss the impacts of different observation level on agent’s effort, risky cost and agency cost, etc. At the end of this paper, we present the condition that principle would like to observe the state of nature.
