A Management System of User Information on a Large Campus Network
SUN Huan-dong, ZHAO Dong-sheng, HUANG Jun
    2000, (2):  16-20.
    Abstract ( 2216 )   PDF (503KB) ( 1487 )   Save
As a large campus network connected to Internet, it uses MS Proxy2.0 and MS Exchange5.5 to provide Internet access and email service. Under the situations such as AMMSNet, it is a problem for a lot of ISPs and enterprise/campus network administrators how to maintain and manage the users’ information, how the information of Internet access is monitored, recorded and stored for accounting and testifying, and how the users on the network are administrated automatically. This paper describes a monitoring and managing system programmed in + Builder and MS SQL which implements user management automation in a large campus network.

Information System Modeling Based on Petri Nets
    WANG Jing-guang, GAN Ren-chu
    2000, (2):  21-28.
    Abstract ( 2103 )   PDF (972KB) ( 3088 )   Save
Traditionally function-oriented modeling and object-oriented modeling are the two major modeing techniques The major advantages of them are the implement of system function, but the abilities to analyze and evaluate in it are too weak. The modeling technology based on Petri Nets advanced in this paper is a good simulation to the system realizing, it could describe the system structure not only, and can be used to analyze the various characteristics of information system by the tools of figuring and mathematics in GNT.

Application Study for Unit Commitment Based on Genetic Algorithms
LAI Yi-fei, PEI Jing-yong, ZHANG Feng, JI Chang-ming
    2000, (2):  29-33.
    Abstract ( 1952 )   PDF (466KB) ( 1962 )   Save
The solution to the unit commitment problem (UCP) in the thermal power plant is a complex optimization problem. An advanced genetic algorithm method to the unit commitment problems is proposed. Numerical results show an improvement in the solution cost compared to the results obtained previously.

Using of Genetic Algorithms in Stock Control with Fuzzy Logic
YU Shu-wei, ZHANG Hua-yu, YANG Lin
    2000, (2):  34-40.
    Abstract ( 2221 )   PDF (779KB) ( 1819 )   Save
In this paper, based on the model of stock control with fuzzy logic, we introduce a new method through which fuzzy contol rules can be got and evaluated with Genetic Algorithms. We name the method as Studying Algorithms of fuzzy rules by two steps. Through the method, the fuzzy control rules can be got and evaluated automatically. With an example, we discuss the usage of this method in stock control and other questions.

The Optimal Urbanization Ratio of China
    WANG Zheng, WANG Lu
    2000, (2):  57-65.
    Abstract ( 2019 )   PDF (1308KB) ( 2108 )   Save
Urbanization is an essential demand of China’s economic development. When economy reaches a stage at which the gap between rural and urban regions is eliminated, social equality is realized and the surplus agricultural laborers are absorbed without the agricultural production falling down, we say the urbanization of China is on an optimal level. The ratio is the optimal urbanization ratio, which is about 63%. More important, we consider that the key point of the economic growth in the next stage of China is to speed up the urbanization and reach the optimal urbanization ratio.

An Application of Duality Theory in the Analysis of Combination of Nation Intervention and Market Regulation
    MENG Qing-chun, LIU Jia-zhuang
    2000, (2):  66-75.
    Abstract ( 1963 )   PDF (1972KB) ( 2103 )   Save
In this paper, first set up the opened macro-output model and macro-resources consumption model, then apply the duality theory to prove the realization of macro-output maximum and resources consumption minimum at the same time, and promulgate that the government regulation variables are respectively the rate of product tax, the rate of capital interest, the rate of labor wage, exchange rate and tariff rate responding with the product market, capital market, labor-force market and international market, at last combine the micro model with the macro models through the K-T condition and give the optimum form of the combination of nation intervention and market regulation.

    2000, (2):  76-81.
    Abstract ( 3234 )   PDF (726KB) ( 5993 )   Save
Based on expounding systematically the indicator system of sustainable development at home and abroad, this paper takes Changsha city, Hunan province as an example. The indicator system of sustainable development has been established and the comprehensive evaluation on sustainable development has been made with the multiobjective linear ly Weighted function model. The evaluating method has practical and applicable value.
