The Partial Least-Squares Regression Analysis of Impact factors of Foreign Direct Investment in China

Abstract: Foreign direct investment(FDI)is increased year by year since the reform and opening of China,and it played an important role on China’s economy performance There are many factors which impact FDI in China,and there is multi collinearity or nearly multi collinearity among the factors This paper adopts a new analysis method of multivariate data-the Partial Least squares(PLS)Regression, to analyze the impact factors of FDI in China,and analyze the degree of the factors,the conclusion can offer beneficial advice to introduce FDI into China.
