Abstract

Abstract: On the basis of evaluating the profitability and efficiency by means of DEA approach,a methodology to assess the effect of efficiency on profitability of commercial bank’s small local branch is developed in this paper An empirical study is performed to evaluate the 12 branches of some Chinese commercial bank,and the result show preliminarily the validity of this methodology.
