Research on Compatibility of Triangular Fuzzy number Complementary Judgment Matrices in Group Decision-making

Abstract: In this paper, the compatibility of preference information and alternatives ranking for group decision-making problems are studied, in which the experts’ preference information is represented by triangular fuzzy number complementary judgment matrices. Firstly, a compatibility index of triangular fuzzy numbers is proposed based on the hamming distance, and the properties of the index are studied. Secondly, a compatibility index of triangular fuzzy number complementary judgment matrices is proposed according to the characteristics of the preference information. Thirdly, the compatibility index is used to determine weights of experts, and a ranking method is presented for the group decision-making problem. At last, a numerical example demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
