Green Development and Regional Economic Resilience: A Synergistic Perspective of Green Finance and Technological Innovation

摘要: 金融与科技的“双轮驱动”深刻影响区域生产活动,不同绿色发展要素间协调联动对区域经济韧性的影响仍有待进一步探讨。本文基于2011—2023年中国30个省(区、市)面板数据,采用双向固定效应模型和空间杜宾模型等,系统考察绿色金融与技术创新协同发展对区域经济韧性的影响。研究发现:(1) 我国绿色金融与技术创新协同发展水平总体偏低但呈上升趋势,空间上呈现“东高西低”的梯度格局。(2) 协同发展有助于提升区域经济韧性,其作用主要体现为需求侧消费结构升级和供给侧技术市场发展两类渠道;环境规制对该作用具有负向调节效应。(3) 在2016—2023年、西部地区、低绿色发展水平地区及资源型地区中,协同发展的韧性提升效应更为明显。(4) 协同发展对区域经济韧性的影响具有正向空间关联效应,其空间作用可能通过经济联系和距离衰减发挥。本文从绿色资本配置与技术供给转化协同视角,为提升区域经济韧性提供了经验证据。

Abstract: The "twin-wheel drive" of finance and technology profoundly affects regional production activities. The impact of synergistic linkage of different green development factors on regional economic resilience still needs further exploration. Based on panel data of 30 provincial-level regions in China from 2011 to 2023, this paper employs two-way fixed effects models, mechanism tests, moderation models, and spatial Durbin models to examine the impact of the synergistic development of green finance and technological innovation on regional economic resilience. The results show that: (1) The overall level of synergistic development between green finance and technological innovation in China is relatively low but has increased steadily over time, displaying a spatial gradient characterized by higher levels in the eastern region and lower levels in the western region. (2) The synergistic development of green finance and technological innovation contributes to the enhancement of regional economic resilience, mainly through two channels: demand-side consumption structure upgrading and supply-side technology market development, while environmental regulation exerts a negative moderating effect on this relationship. (3) The positive impact of the synergistic development of green finance and technological innovation on regional economic resilience is more pronounced during 2016–2023, in western regions, in areas with low green development levels, and in resource-dependent regions. (4) The synergistic development of green finance and technological innovation exhibits a positive spatial association effect in promoting regional economic resilience, and its spatial role may operate through economic linkages and distance decay. This article provides empirical evidence for enhancing regional economic resilience from the perspective of synergy between green capital allocation and technology supply and transformation.
