Critical Chain Project Management Based on PERT/CPM

摘要: 网络规划技术是现代项目管理技术的重要组成部分。本文在对传统PERT/CPM网络规划方法分析的基础上,针对PERT三点估计在应用上的缺陷,引入Theory of Constraint(TOC),并对PERT三点估计给出一种全新的解释。在新的解释下,TOC思想在项目规划中的运用被称为关键链管理(CCPM),强调在项目实施过程中加强对关键链的管理。为此,本文提出了一个基于三点估计的关键链管理的新方法,并通过实例论证关键链管理作为一种新的项目管理方法可以接近或者超过PERT/CPM的平均效果。

Abstract: Network Scheduling Technology is one of the most important parts of Project Management(PM).Based on the analysis of PERT/CPM,the Theory of Constraint(TOC) is introduced and a completely-new explanation to three-point estimation is given,which overcomes the shortage of traditional three-point estimation in PERT.In this new explanation,the application of TOC in PM is intituled Critical Chain Project Management(CCPM),which emphasizes controlling Critical Chain in the execution of project.Further about how to control the Critical Chain,a new method based on three-point estimation will be drawn,and by an example,we will prove that this method is equal to or more effective than PERT/CPM.
